Product Implementation Engineer

POSITION \ product implementation Engineer
Location - South Bend, IN
Type - Full-time

POSITION summary

This Product Implementation Specialist role will be responsible for utilizing systems to help our customers take advantage of their data to derive insights and make better informed business decisions.

essential function and job responsbilities

Product Implementation Engineers clean, configure, and organize client data in standard libraries which can then be used for advanced analytics. We work along-side our customers to map their data to our libraries and then deliver those libraries for their business users to access. You will need to be able to communicate with technical & non-technical clients to understand and translate business requirements. It is critical for those in this position to have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Analyze customers’ business requirements and objectives to develop business processes that will meet their needs

  • Acts as liaison between clients and internal technical resources

  • Configure software application to best meet the customer’s business needs

  • Develop and deliver project deliverables such as process outlines, gap analysis and functional design documents throughout the project

  • Continuously study our product offerings and provide subject matter expertise

  • Deliver training sessions

  • Conduct data QA/validation sessions

  • Provide implementation and post-implementation support as needed

  • Consult with customers and determine new ways for them to improve their operations through new service or product offerings

  • Provide feedback to our product management and marketing teams for improved customer communications and product enhancements

  • Assist in developing new training curricula for new products and enhanced functionality as needed

preferred skills

  • One year experience in business analysis and data engineering practices and methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Work, PowerPoint

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, related field, or comparable experience

  • Software implementation experience

  • Business Analysis experience

  • Data engineering/data ETL experience

  • Project management experience

  • Communication skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Training skills
